PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin particle that is excellent in electrostatic properties, heat-resistant preservation stability and thermal properties and has a uniform particle size. SOLUTION: The resin particles is a core/shell type resin particle (C2) constituted of at least one film-like shell layer (P) composed of a first resin (a) and one core layer (Q) composed of a second resin (b) with the weight ratio of (P) to (Q) of (0.1:99.9) to (70:30) and the volatile component content of (C2) of at most 2 wt.%, where the resin (a) has a softening initiation temperature of 40-270°C, a glass transition temperature of 20-250°C and a flow temperature of 60-300°C with a difference between the glass transition temperature and the flow temperature of 0-120°C and contains 1-30 wt.% of a sulfonic acid (salt) group-containing (meth)acrylamide as a constituting unit.
