The method involves simultaneously measuring force (F), acceleration (a) and time (t) at same object and in same direction. A kinetic energy (W) is calculated based on the measured force, acceleration and time according to a formula W = 1/2(Fxaxt2>). The force, acceleration and time are measured in many, short time intervals of equal length, and are constantly integrated to a total-energy. The measuring of the kinetic energy begins if the value of the acceleration is greater than or less than zero, and ends if the value of the acceleration reaches zero. An independent claim is also included for a kinetic energy measuring device for measuring kinetic energy that is introduced or held on an accelerated or decelerated object or mass.
|
