SADDLE RIDING TYPE VEHICLE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding type vehicle capable of making improvement of cooling performance of a V belt type continuously variable transmission compatible with miniaturization of a vehicle body cover.

SOLUTION: A recessed space 17 recessed downward when viewed on a side is marked off in front of a seat 16. A center tunnel 11a is marked off in the vehicle body cover 21. A motorcycle 10 is provided with an engine unit 28 supported on a vehicle body frame 11 below the recessed space 17. The engine unit 28 has a transmission case 53 forming a belt chamber storing the V belt type continuously variable transmission in the inside. A foot rest 85R is arranged in the outside in the direction of vehicle width of the transmission case 53. An intake duct 136 for leading the air for cooling the V belt type continuously variable transmission is arranged in the outside in the direction of vehicle width of the center tunnel 11a and above the transmission case 53.
