PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability in adjusting tension of a driving chain. SOLUTION: In an irregular ground running vehicle 10 driving its rear wheel 18 through a driven sprocket 44 on which the driving chain is wound, and adjusting the tension of the driving chain by moving the driven sprocket 44 in the longitudinal direction of a car body, this driving chain adjusting mechanism comprises a case 43 connected with the driven sprocket 44, a cam 102 for longitudinally moving the case 43 to a car body frame 11, and a bolt 106 positioned at a rear part of a shaft portion of the driven sprocket 44 for mounting the cam 102 and the case 43.
