<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring apparatus which enables accurate blood pressure measurement without affecting the daily life of a subject when a blood pressure is measured by using a superficial temporal artery as a region to be measured and has a cuff easily assembled . <P>SOLUTION: In the blood pressure measuring apparatus equipped with a cuff attachment part, a pulse wave detecting means embedded in the cuff, a pressurization and depressurization means for pressurizing and depressurizing the cuff with a fluid containing air, a pipe arrangement 4 connected between the cuff and the pressurization and depressurization means for sending the fluid, a pressure detecting means connected to the pipe arrangement for detecting a pressure of the cuff, and a blood pressure measurement control means for measuring a blood pressure value from pulse wave signals; the cuff is equipped with a cuff member 30 with a channel communicating with the pipe arrangement, a cylindrical part 27 which is provided in an air-tight state to the cuff member and is elastically deformed when pressurized and depressurized, a hat-shaped cuff bag body 22 with a lid part 25 used as a pressing side for pressing the region to be measured, and a fitting member 38 for fixing the cuff bag body to the cuff member by fitting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
