<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce temperature rise with the thermal radiation effect ensured, by effectively preventing thermal runaway of a built-in secondary battery from inducing that of other secondary batteries. <P>SOLUTION: The battery pack stores a plurality of secondary batteries 1 in a parallel condition adjoining each other in an outer package case 2, and a cooling wind duct 6 cooling the secondary batteries 1 by cooling wind is provided in the outer package case 2. The battery pack is provided with plastic thermorunaway-preventing walls 3 between adjoining secondary batteries 1, and the thermal runaway preventing walls 3 are integrally molded with thermal conductive cylinders 4 formed into a cylindrical shape to insert the secondary batteries 1 into. The thermorunaway-preventing wall 3 is used as a part of the thermal conductive cylinder 4. The thermal conductive cylinder 4 includes a thermal radiation region 5 exposing a part of the surface of the inserted secondary battery on the cooling wind duct 6, the part of the secondary battery 1, exposed in the thermal radiation region 5, is cooled by the cooling wind sent to the cooling wind duct 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
