PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional food having excellent safety and containing an extract effective for the prevention or amelioration of learning and memory disorder, free from side actions and having medicinal effect and action favorably comparable with those of conventional medicinal pharmaceuticals.

SOLUTION: The functional food for ameliorating learning and memory disorder by the activation of CREB as an action mechanism contains crushed and squeezed juice of the whole fruit of citrus plant and/or an extract of the crushed and squeezed juice.
