PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel equipped with a structure of inhibiting frit from permeating in a display area during a sealing process. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel is provided with a pair of substrates 110 opposed to each other separated by a given interval, a sheet 120 equipped with a barrier rib part 121 zoning discharge cells together with the pair of substrates 110 and a dielectric part 122 arranged at an end, a first discharge electrode 131 arranged inside the sheet 120, a second discharge electrode 132 arranged inside the sheet separated from the first electrode 131, a frit 140 sealing the pair of substrates 110 arranged between the pair of substrates 110 and the dielectric part 122, at least one groove 150 formed at least at one of the pair of substrates 110 to limit movement of the frit 140, a phosphor layer 160 arranged inside each discharge cell 170, and discharge gas inside the discharge cells.
