PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a spare tire cover capable of restraining theft of a spare tire and improving efficiency of work to release holding by a lock device. SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the spare tire cover is furnished with the spare tire cover 53 and the lock device 70. The spare tire cover 53 covers the spare tire 40 held on an outer panel 31 of a back door 30. The lock device 70 is furnished with an engaging part 71 provided on the spare tire cover 53 and a locking mechanism 72 to be engaged with the engaging part 71. The locking mechanism 72 is furnished with an engaged member 75 to be engaged with the engaging part 71 and a releasing lever 76 to be operated to release engagement of the engaging part 71 and the engaged member 75.
