PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of improving a printing quality of image by decreasing an uneven conveyance of recording paper that is generated by a backlash of reduction gears such as conveying rollers and by removing a color shift. SOLUTION: While rotating a platen roller 2 driven as a main drive source, a driving force transmitted to a platen roller 2 is re-transmitted to the first conveying roller 1 and the second conveying roller 3, thereby, the rotary drive of the rollers is carried out subordinately.
