PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a relay terminal unit with a good yield so as to be stably and surely connectable for changing the projecting direction of a first shaft terminal projecting from a switch part in an engine starter. SOLUTION: A terminal body 28 of the relay terminal unit 27 has a second shaft terminal 28a on one end side, first and second collar parts 28c and 28d formed in the second shaft terminal 28a, and a ring-shaped plate 28b extended to the other end side in the axial direction of the second shaft terminal 28a and fitted around the first shaft terminal 23 projecting from the switch part S; and is constituted so that while forming a cutout surface 28e on an outer peripheral surface of the first collar part 28c, the outer periphery of the second collar part 28d is embedded for forming a battery side support part 30 on one end side by insert-molding a resin material.
