摘要 <p>[PROBLEMS] To obtain a novel enzyme which is derived from a microorganism, particularly a mold showing a high growth capability on a plastic surface having an urethane bond and can break an urethane bond and/or an amide bond in a polymeric substance, and to provide a method for degradation of a plastic material having an urethane bond by using the enzyme. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Disclosed is a ceramidase comprising either of the proteins (a) and (b): (a) a protein comprising the amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:1; and (b) a protein comprising an amino acid sequence having the deletion, substitution or addition of one or several amino acid residues in the amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:1 and having a ceramidase activity.</p>
