A slide/tilt control device based on temperature is provided to detect the temperature of a vehicle mounted with a telematics terminal, and to properly control the torque of a motor that performs sliding/tilting functions of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) according to the detected temperature, thus the sliding and tilting functions are stably conducted despite temperature changes of the vehicle. A temperature sensor(70) detects external temperature. An input unit(10) is equipped with a slide and tilt key. A motor drive unit(50) applies a driving voltage to a motor(60) to move an LCD comprised on a terminal in sliding and tilting manner. A microcomputer(40) controls the motor drive unit(50) as the slide and tilt key is inputted, performs requested slide and tilt functions, and controls the motor driving voltage according to the detected temperature.
