<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid composition, by which a printed image with few void can be provided by small quantities of ink irrespective of the kind of a recording medium used, and an ink set and an image forming method, in which the liquid composition is employed. <P>SOLUTION: Before the adhesion of the ink to the recording medium by an ink jetting system, the liquid composition at least containing a photocatalyst is adhered to the recording medium. As the photocatalyst, titanium dioxide, the average primary particle diameter of which is not more than 100 nm and which has an anatase-type crystal structure, is especially preferable. In addition, (A) a process for adhering the liquid composition to the recording medium by the ink jetting system, (B) a process for irradiating photocatalyst activating light to the recording medium and (C) a process for adhering an ink at least containing coloring material to the recording medium by the ink jetting system are preferably executed in the order named. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
