PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which can prevent degradation in image quality by removing discontinuity of images. SOLUTION: An image outputted from a video camera is inputted through an input terminal 201 to an image input section 202 thence outputted to an image split section 203. The image split section 203 splits a central image obtained by removing the peripheral image from the inputted image into four split images each having an overlap region. Each split image is outputted from an output section 204a-204d through an output terminal 205a-205d to a recorder. On the other hand, a split image outputted from the recorder is inputted through the input terminal 206a-206d to the record image input section 207a-207d thence outputted to an image removing section 208. The image removing section 208 removes the overlap region from four split images thus inputted.
