PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera apparatus in which a zooming operation and a photographing operation are performed only by pressing an operating button. SOLUTION: A cabinet 2 comprises: an operating button 3; and a control means 1 for executing a zooming operation by pressing the operating button 3 on a first stage and for executing a photographing operation by interrupting the zooming operating by pressing the operating button 3 on a second stage deeper than the first stage during the zooming operation. When pressing on the second stage is detected, the control means 1 starts photographing preparation processing and if pressing on the second stage is canceled within a photographing preparation time T1, photographing preparation is stopped.
