PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unnecessary spurious with a small-scale circuit configuration. SOLUTION: The frequency converter 100 includes an SSB mixer 10 and a signal input part 20 indicated with a dotted line. The signal input part 20 includes a first input part 12 and a second input part 14. The first input part 12 inputs a square wave signal to one input terminal of the SSB mixer 10. The second input part 14 inputs to the other terminal of the SSB mixer 10 a square wave signal having a clock frequency which has multiplied the square wave signal by an even number the first input part 12 inputs.
