<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector without insertion/pull-out force scarcely taking time in assembly. <P>SOLUTION: The electric connector needing no insertion/pull-out force is provided with an ambient housing having a container part for a plurality of sleeve contacts, each of which is equipped with a base member forming a contact thin plate and a clamp sleeve in free movement against the base member, and a collective joint part equipped with flag pins for contacting the sleeve contacts. A fixed housing can be engaged with the ambient housing for a preliminary engagement state and a final engagement state, and the collective joint part separates an engagement joint part locking the fixed housing to the ambient housing in mounting the ambient housing, the fixed housing is transferred from the preliminary engagement state to the final engagement state, and at the same time, the clamp sleeve is moved along the base member of the sleeve contact to press the contact thin plate onto the flag pin of the collective joint part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
