<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking brake device capable of maintaining amount of protrusion of an operation knob at predetermined amount and making operation sound caused during the operation of an operation lever comfortable operation sound irrespective of the operation of the operation lever. <P>SOLUTION: The operation lever 4 is provided with a grip 60 having the operation knob 61 for operating a pole 40 and a release rod 62 connected with the operation knob 61, a relay rod 51 for engaging and disengaging the pole 40 with/from a ratchet plate 3, and a transmission member 70 provided between the release rod 62 and the relay rod 51 to transmit operation of the operation knob 61 to the relay rod 51. A spring S arranged between the relay rod 51 and the pole 40 energizes the pole 40 in the direction for locking in the ratchet plate 3 and energizes the relay rod 51 by directing the operation knob 61 of the grip 60 toward a non-operation position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
