PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear projection screen which can obtain high-definition images by improving the contacts of the components to reduce the gaps between them and suppressing misalignments between the images, when housing a rear projection screen consisting of two or more sheets of optical components in a case. SOLUTION: This rear projection screen is constituted of at least an optical sheet (A) consisting of a lens sheet which has a light-absorbing layer of unit lenses one dimensionally and two dimensionally arranged and an optical diffusion layer, and a Fresnel lens sheet (B). When it is housed in a case, it has the relation 0.5≤d<SB>A</SB>/d<SB>B</SB>≤2, where d<SB>A</SB>, d<SB>B</SB>respectively indicate the thickness of the optical sheet (A) and a Fresnel lens sheet (B). Further, the relation of the depression amount (x) at the screen center, and the actual image misalignment (y) satisfies an equation (1): y=0.14 x<SP>2</SP>±0.1 (where 0≤x≤3).
