PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device using an ER (electrorheological) fluid excellent in durability and capable of stably maintaining the ER characteristics for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The display material uses an ER fluid consisting of a dispersion liquid of solid particles dispersed in an insulating liquid, wherein the solid particles consist of an organic conductive polymer 2.
