PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens holding barrel having a structure designed so that a parallel eccentricity adjustment can be easily made for a lens within a lens barrel and the adjusted lens can be fixed. SOLUTION: Three holding pawls 24 elastically deformable are integrally formed on the upper edge of the peripheral wall 21 of the lens holding barrel 20. While the holding pawls 24 are deformed outward, the lens 5 is inserted inside the peripheral wall 21. When the lower face of the lens 5 comes into contact with a receiving face 22, the holding pawls 24 return to their original positions, thereby sandwiching the lens 5 between the receiving face 22 and the holding pawls 24. A parallel eccentricity adjustment is made by inserting adjustment pins from first through-holes 25 and pressing the periphery of the lens 5. After the adjustment, an adhesive is injected from second through-holes 26, thereby fixing the lens 5 in the lens holding barrel 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
