PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a short-circuit failure of a thermistor, and to prevent a secondary damage caused by a wrong detection output. SOLUTION: A voltage detection circuit 111 detects a short-circuit abnormality of the thermistor 101 from a voltage value in a prescribed period after current supply to a series circuit of the thermistor 101 and a resister 102 from the first direct-current power source 100, to thereby prevent wrong liquid level detection.
