PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and inexpensively prevent interference of an inner joint member to a boot while keeping an outer joint member lightweight and compact, to have a stopper function to prevent unloading of the inner joint member, and to reduce or prevent whirling of the boot. SOLUTION: In this boot 10 for a constant velocity universal joint having a large-diameter mounting portion 10a disposed on a boot mounting portion on the outer joint member 3 of the constant velocity universal joint, a small-diameter mounting portion 10b disposed on a boot mounting portion on a second rotating shaft 4 connected with the inner joint member 5 of the constant velocity universal joint, and a bellows portion 10c integrally connecting the large-diameter mounting portion 10a and the small-diameter mounting portion 10b, a cylindrical portion 10d is formed by extending the large-diameter mounting portion 10a by a prescribed length to a bellows portion 10c side while keeping its inner diameter constant, a supporting cylinder 11 having rigidity higher than that of the cylindrical portion 10d is internally fitted to an inner peripheral face of the cylindrical portion 10d, and one end of the supporting cylinder 11 is held and fixed between an opening end outer periphery of the outer joint member 3 and the large-diameter mounting portion 10a.
