PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a triamine compound having heat resistance (heat stability) and excellent characteristics drivable at a low voltage when used as a material for an organic EL (electroluminescent) device. SOLUTION: The triamine compound is represented by general formula [1] (wherein, Ar1to Ar4represent each independently a halogen atom, an alkyl group, a haloalkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a trialkylsilyl group, a cyano group or a phenyl group, a naphthyl group or an anthryl group which may be substituted with a nitro group; at least one is a naphthyl group or an anthryl group which may be substituted; all the Ar1to Ar4are not naphthyl groups which may be substituted; all the Ar1to Ar4are not anthryl groups which may be substituted; and R1to R13represent each independently a hydrogen atom or the like).
