PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently ensure the rigidity of a subseat when using it to improve seating property of the subseat. SOLUTION: In this seat device for the vehicle constituted by arranging the subseat 8 between a pair of left and right main seats 6 and 7 provided by separating them from each other in the direction of vehicle width, the subseat 8 is constituted so as to displace between a subseat storage condition in which it is stored below the main seats 6, 7 and a subseat use condition in which it is arranged at a use position between the main seats 6 and 7, and the subseat 8 is supported by supporting members 35, 45 and is fixed and held at the use position by locking mechanisms 54, 100 in the subseat use condition.
