PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use hot air flowing into a rotary tub effectively for drying laundry. SOLUTION: The rear end face of the rotary tub 4 is provided with a cylindrical sealing member 4 extending toward the rear end face of a water tub 3. In the rear end face of the water tub 3, a connecting port 42 is provided in the inner peripheral part from the water tub side end of the sealing member 45, and in the rear end face of the rotary tub 4, a number of hole parts 11 are provided in the inner peripheral part from the rotary tub side end of the sealing member 45. The sealing member 45 is inclined to the rotary axis side from the water tub end part toward the rotary tub end part. When the drying operation is performed, the hot air supplied from a drying device 30 flows into the rotary tub 4 from the connecting port 42 and the hole parts 11 through an air ventilation trunk 43 and heads for the center of rotation.
