A character input method is provided to shorten an input speed by enabling a continuous writing without an unnecessary supplemental behavior such as a time delay, a cursor movement, and formant recognition. Geometrical shapes of each formant constituting characters are divided into formant elements having a geometrical shape smaller than a formant unit. For the formant elements having the same shape among the every divided formant element, only one is left as excluding the other. One or more formant elements are re-combined from the thusly obtained formant element group to implement every formant of characters to input characters. |
