A method for changing screen image information of a mobile terminal by using an XSL(eXtensible Style Language) and a system therefor are provided to solve a problem of the related art that data for operating a terminal is not stored in an XML(eXtensible Markup Language), so diversity and extensibility of a style sheet display using an XSL cannot be used and various applications are limited. A style sheet provider fabricates a style sheet according to a registered XML format. A content operating server provides downloading of the fabricated style sheet based on authentication information of the registered XML. A mobile terminal transmits the authentication information, downloads the style sheet of the registered XML, and sets a display environment.
