Telescope jib for a crane comprises an articulated arm, telescopic arms extending out of the articulated arm, and bracing having at least one bracing support (6) positioned on one of the arms and supporting a bracing cable (7). The bracing cable has enlarged parts at one end. A cable lock provided on the bracing support engages in a form-locking manner with the enlarged parts. Preferred Features: The enlarged parts are rope clamps (25). The cable lock is moved in the longitudinal direction of the cable by an actuator, especially a hydraulic cylinder (30). The bracing cable is tensioned on movement of the cable lock. |
