The unit has a reflector (3) assigned to a light source to parallelize the light emitted by the source in a light emitting direction. An auxiliary light disk (6) is arranged in front of the reflector in the direction and assigned to a convex lens segment (11) that focuses a partial light beam parallelized by the reflector, and to a scattering lens segment (14) that scatters the beam. The segment (11) has lens, which are assigned translucent to cup-shaped small reflectors (7). The surfaces of the reflectors (7) are aligned to the source and/or reflector (3).
