The present invention relates to the use of metalloporphyrins for the preparation of a remedy for the treatment of patients having undergone organ or cell transplantation or patients affected by an autoimmune disorder, as well as a pharmaceutical composition containing said metalloporphyrins in joint therapy with an immunosuppressant.
