An electricity generating system is provided to generate electrical energy without causing environmental contamination by using gravity and buoyancy. A double cylindrical structure(1) and a single cylindrical structure(3) are arranged side by side. The double cylindrical structure has an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder filled with liquid. The inner cylinder has a wall on which chains are arranged to be rotatable in a vertical direction. The wall of the inner cylinder has a plurality of holes so that the liquid in the inner cylinder and the liquid in the outer cylinder are communicated with each other. The single cylindrical structure has a wall on which chains are arranged to be rotatable about a cylinder wall. The wall of the single cylindrical structure has a plurality of holes for air circulation. An upper moving unit(2) is arranged on the cylindrical structures and a lower moving unit(4) is arranged beneath the cylindrical structures. The chains are connected to a generator(5). |
