<p>The system, designed to prevent cold air from lingering between cold storage/display units along opposite sides of an aisle (E), consists of one duct (3) extending from the top (5) to the lower front edge of a unit (1) on one side of the aisle and a second duct (4) from the lower front edge (8) of an opposite unit (2) to its upper surface (7), drawn by an extractor fan (14). The ducts can be formed by the gaps between two units set back-to-back or between the back of one unit and an adjacent wall, with the air flow controlled by temperature sensors in the ducts.</p> |
