<p>The present invention relates to a control apparatus for an input-output number-of-revolutions ratio variable clutch and control method for an input-output number-of-revolutions ratio variable clutch, capable of executing effective cooling control corresponding to an engine state. This control apparatus includes a clutch 7 capable of varying an input-output number-of-revolutions ratio, an input side of which is connected to an engine 8 and an output side of which is connected to a cooling fan, first temperature detecting means 13 for detecting an outside air temperature Ta, second temperature detecting means 11, 12 for detecting engine-related liquid temperatures Tw, To and control means 4 for, upon receipt of these temperature information, changing the input-output number-of-revolutions ratio of the clutch 7.
