PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium, in which printing bandings are inconspicuous while retaining a quality feeling as a photograph printing paper, which is called as a silky tone or a fine grain surface. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recording medium, on the surface of which a multitude of recessed and projected parts are formed by embossing, a linear pattern 1, which can be a linear printing banding due to the recessed and projected parts and the adhesion of ink, if formed so as to have an angle with respect to either one of a main scanning direction Y or a sub scanning direction X in an ink jet recording system. In the ink jet recording medium, on the surface of which a multitude of recessed and projected parts are formed by embossing, the recessed and projected parts having a plurality of configurations are arrayed so as to be mixed mutually. |
