<p>An optical fiber distribution system comprising: a central-side terminating section (480) for terminating a plurality of first fiber cables (415) connected to communication equipment (407, 408) in a central office; a user-side terminating section (481) for terminating a plurality of second fiber cables (417) connected to a plurality of subscriber terminal equipment; a cross connecting section (427) for switching any optical fiber of said first fiber cable (415) and/or any optical fiber of said second fiber cable (417); a fiber distributing section (429) for connecting any optical fiber from said center side terminating section (480) to said cross connecting section (427); and a fiber distribution module (401) having a test accessing section (426) for operating said first fiber cable (415) and said second fiber cable (417), and a fiber switching section (430) for switching input/output ports for operating said test accessing section (426).</p>
