<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain multipoint communication without a call loss by means of a large scaled system without the need for a centralizing apparatus and of a high quality media signal by directly transmitting a call control signal and the media signal from one terminal to another terminal in pairs with the one terminal without the need for transmission to the centralized apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Each of communication client apparatuses 20, 20' informs all communication client apparatuses in a network about its own address (21), and requests the other communication client apparatus to transmit an address notice (22), stores the address of the other communication client apparatus to its own communication client apparatus (23), requests start of communication by using the stored address of the other communication client apparatus (24), returns a reply with respect to the communication start request (25), and the two communication client apparatuses start the communication, transmit/receive media according to a started communication path (26, 27), and display the media (28) to inform a user about it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
