PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid car contriving improvement in drivability by reducing the engine starting work of an electric motor at the initial stage of engine start. SOLUTION: The hybrid car equipped with an engine 1 and an electric motor 2 has the constitution comprising a starting motor 8 which assists the starting of the engine 1 and a deciding means 12 ECU which decides whether the engine starting condition is established, and a controlling means ECU 12 to the engine by driving a motor 2 where the starting condition of the engine 1 is decided and assist the engine starting by driving a starter motor 8 at the initial stage of the engine start. |
