PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line pressure control device for a continuously variable transmission, assuring the optimum line pressure even in transient speed change. SOLUTION: The line pressure control device for the continuously variable transmission in which a target line pressure PLA of an working fluid to be supplied to the continuously variable transmission is set corresponding to the operated condition of a vehicle to control the line pressure of the continuously variable transmission mounted on the vehicle so that an actual line pressure PL of the working fluid is controlled to achieve the target line pressure PLA, comprises consumed flow correlation value deriving means 58A for deriving a consumed flow correlation value correlated to the consumed flow rate of the working fluid to be consumed in transient speed change and line pressure correction amount determining means 58B for determining a line pressure correction amountΔDLSFT in accordance with the consumed flow correlation value derived from the consumed flow correlation value deriving means 58A, whereby the target line pressure PL is corrected corresponding to the line pressure correction amountΔDLSFT determined by the line pressure correction amount determining means 58B. |
