A refrigerator using nitrogen and humidity for keeping food is provided to substitute oxygen in a storing chamber with nitrogen for preventing oxidation and acidity of food caused by germs and automatically sprays water for preventing drying of food in the storing chamber, thereby keeping food fresh for a long time. A refrigerator using nitrogen and humidity for keeping food includes a nitrogen gas separator substituting oxygen in the refrigerator with nitrogen and supplying atmospheric air via a filter drier(1) to remove moisture and pollutants from the atmospheric air. A nitrogen generator(4) is driven by a nitrogen sensor(23) and a pressure transmitter to keep nitrogen by 99.9% and pressure of 0.3PSIG. An electronic valve(12) mounted to a humidifying pipe is driven by a signal output from an internal humidity sensor(24) of a storing chamber for spraying humidity mist. A coil type evaporator(25) is mounted in a wall for lowering a temperature of the storing chamber by air convection. A vacuum pump(15) discharges nitrogen fast for moisture or gas purge in the storing chamber. An air curtain is mounted at both sides of a door for sealing the storing chamber and driven by a limit switch. |
