An electric actuator is provided to reduce the number of planetary gears by reducing the number of the planetary gears of each stage as many as the number of units close to a drive motor. In an electric actuator, a housing of the electric actuator(2) is formed with an upper case(21) and a gear case(23). A drive motor(11) is disposed in the upper case. The gear case receives a speed reduction gear mechanism(12). The speed reduction gear mechanism includes two staked planetary gear units. The number of planetary gears(31) close to the drive motor is set to be smaller than the number of planetary gears(39) of a planetary gear unit close to a rotational shaft(3). The electric actuator includes the gear case. An inner gear is formed on the inner wall of the gear case. The case receives the drive motor and the planetary gear mechanism.
