An apparatus for baking a fluorescent layer is provided to bake the fluorescent layer under uniform heating atmosphere by moving a plurality of glass tubes for manufacturing a plurality of lamps. A transferring unit(2) transfers a plurality of glass tubes(G) for manufacturing a plurality of fluorescent lamps. An inner surface of each of the glass tubes is coated with a fluorescent layer(W). A heating unit(10) is positioned in a transferring section of the transferring unit in order to bake the fluorescent layer of each of the glass tubes. A plurality of transferring holders(16) are installed detachably at the transferring unit. Each of the transferring holders receives two or more glass tubes. A rolling unit rotates the glass tubes within transferring holders.
