<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly generate a preceding vehicle start alarm of a preceding vehicle without troubling a driver. SOLUTION: When a preceding vehicle B starts after a user's vehicle A stops following the preceding vehicle B, a controller 1 drives an oscillation element 9 of driver's seat 8 through an oscillation element controller 7 to generate the preceding vehicle start alarm in accordance with the position and the operation condition of the user's vehicle based on inputs from a preceding vehicle detection sensor 2, a vehicle speed sensor 3, a winker operation detector 4, and a navigation device 6. In this case, the preceding vehicle detection sensor 2 is operated a prescribed time after the stop, and the preceding vehicle start alarm is not generated if the vehicle stops at an intersection or is operating a winker. Only when the vehicle stops at the head of an intersection and is not operating the winker, it is reported by a voice report device 5 that the preceding vehicle start alarm is not generated.</p> |
