METHOD FOR TREATING THE CASES OF CHRONIC CICATRICIAL LARYNX STENOSIS

FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves applying cyclic action to transformed middle respiratory paths tissues. The treatment is carried out by applying air flow performing in- and exhalations through nose and then through mouth. Next to it, tracheostoma or tracheostoma tube are applied in turn. Training scheme includes inspiration-inspiration-expiration in 1:1:5 proportion, then inspiration-expiration-expiration in 5:1:1 proportion, respectively. Final exercise is carried out by imitating pairs of inspiration-expirations by means of abdominal muscles w closed nose, mouth and closed tracheostoma during 5-10 min 3-5 times a day. The total treatment course is 1-6 months long. Reparative therapy is applied in early postoperative period or in remote period after operation. ^ EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; improved functional properties of respiration system.
