A drum type washing machine is provided to automatically wash the door by forming the door washing hole at the shower nozzle and injecting the water circulated by the washing water circulating apparatus to the door. A drum type washing machine is composed of a cabinet(2) formed with an opening to put the laundry; a door(10) opening and closing the opening of the cabinet; and a door washing unit for injecting the washing water from the inside of the cabinet to the door and washing the door. The door is installed with a door glass(14) bulged toward the inside of the cabinet. The washing machine contains a circulating pump(52) for pumping the supplied water, and a shower nozzle for injecting the water pumped by the circulating pump from the upper side of the door and to the inside of the door. The door washing unit is formed with a door washing hole at the lower side of the shower nozzle so as to inject the water to the door.
