A continuous annealing furnace which uniformly corrects thermal unbalance due to the pressure difference in a fuel supply line and further improves thermal efficiency, an efficiency improved continuous annealing furnace which further improves cooling performance also by improving the structure of a nozzle of a gas cooling furnace in the continuous annealing furnace, and a method for annealing strip using the same are provided. In a continuous annealing furnace comprising an annealing furnace having a plurality of radiant tubes(10) vertically installed therein, and a cooling furnace linked with the annealing furnace, an efficiency improved continuous annealing furnace comprises: a fuel supply line(L1) constructed per zones(20A,20B,20C) perpendicular to the furnace to supply fuel into the radiant tubes of the annealing furnace; and an exhaust line(L2) constructed per layers(30X,30Y,30Z) to exhaust waste gas to the outside through the exhaust line, wherein a cooling head of the cooling furnace has cooling holes with varying diameter correspondingly to a central part and edge parts of a strip. The fuel supply line comprises a central line and left and right side lines branched off from the central line that are constructed per the zones, and the left and right side lines are connected to each other to uniformize the pressure of fuel supplied into the annealing furnace as a whole. |
