A coplanar resonator and a filter using a same are provided to reduce the size by shortening a length of the resonator in a propagation direction of a signal as long as a length of a bent sub line conductor. In a coplanar resonator, a central conductor(30) has a main line conductor(31), and first and second line conductors(32a,32b). The main line conductor(31) is elongated in a linear shape having one end and the other end on a surface of a dielectric substrate. The first and second line conductors(32a,32b) are diverged from the one end of the main line conductor(31). The first and second line conductors(32a,32b) are bent on both sides of the main line conductor(31). A ground conductor(12) is formed on the surface of the dielectric substrate. The ground conductor(12) embraces the central conductor.
