DIFFUSER PLATE, METHOD OF FABRICATING THE DIFFUSER PLATE AND BACK LIGHT UNIT

A diffuser and a back light unit are provided to reflect light reflected from a lens of a light-condensing layer to improve efficiency and reduce the number of optical components required for the back light unit by using the diffuser. A diffuser(33) includes a diffusion layer(33a), a light-condensing layer, and a semi-transparent reflecting layer(36). The diffusion layer diffuses light. The light-condensing layer condenses the light. The semi-transparent reflecting layer is located between the diffusion layer and the light-condensing layer. The diffusion layer includes an air layer(35) located between the semi-transparent reflecting layer and the diffusion layer or between the light-condensing layer and the semi-transparent reflecting layer. The diffusion layer further includes a barrier(33b) for maintaining the gap of the air layer.
