A plasma display panel is provided to enhance driving efficiency by comprising a T-shaped discharge cell therein having an asymmetric discharge gap. A plasma display panel includes a front panel(200), a rear panel(210) installed apart from the front panel, an address electrode, and a barrier rib. The address electrode(213) is formed between the front panel and the rear panel in intersect direction with a scan electrode(202) and a sustain electrode(203). The barrier rib(212) is formed between the front panel and the rear panel in order to dispose discharge cells. The discharge cells include a first discharge section having a first width and a second discharge section having a second width larger than the first width. At this time, the second discharge section is formed at one position among an upper or a lower portion of the first discharge section. The area of the first discharge section is smaller than that of the second discharge section.
